New perspective in the clinical study of thyroid nodules

934 aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules were done between April 1991 and April 1994 at the Pathology Department of San Juan de Dios Hospital.
From 2 to IO preparations for citology were obtained.HistoIogic correlation was done at the beguinning in 146 cases giving 98% specificity and 92% sensitivity.
