Human granulocytotropic ehrlichiosis

Human ehrlichiosis are emergent tick-borne zoonoses, affecting many wild and domestic mammals. We report the case of a patient with a clinical picture and laboratory findings compatible with severe granulocytic ehrlichiosis. The patient was treated with doxyciclin and did fine.
