Intestinal obstruction secondary to splenic colvulus in a pediatric patient

The occurrence of a wandering spleen is unusual, and even more a tortioned wandering spleen. The patients may present with various symptoms ranging from mild intermit-tent abdominal pain to an acute abdomen. We present a patient with intestinal obstruction secondary to torsion of a wandering spleen.
