Meckel s diverticulum is the most common congenital anomaly of the gastrointestinal tract. In most cases it is found incidentaly during a laparotomy or in autopsies. When it issimptomatic (in about 4% of cases) it could be sencondary toulceration, bleeding or perforation due to ectopic gastric mucosa; to inflamation or to intestinal obstruction, as in the ca-se presented here.
