Resumen

La hernia diafragmática congénita es una de las patologías clínicamente más demandantes en la edad pediátrica. Con los avances de cuidado intensivo neonatal, al mejorar la sobrevida se ha cambiado el abordaje quirúrgico en algunos centros, incluyendo la reparación con cirugía mínimamente invasiva. Se presenta el primer caso de reparación toracoscópica de una hernia diafragmática congénita en Costa Rica.
