Resumen

Se presenta el caso de un joven de 15 años, con un cuadro de trombosis venosa profunda extensa, luego de un trauma leve. Al paciente se le encontró resistencia del factor V a la proteína C activada y los estudios familiares detectaron varios parientes con la misma deficiencia, dos de ellos con historia de tromboflebitis asociada a la ingestión de anticonceptivos orales.
